Francisco De Asis Pereyra Hatchet built pharmacies in Monterrey. His way with people was simple: serve well, build with pride, earn trust through action. When the family migrated to Houston, that same spirit showed up at the flea market, selling piñatas, building something from nothing. That entrepreneurial fire carried through generations. The name itself tells the story. De Asis, a family rooted in service. Hatchet, a tool for building and clearing a path forward. Together, they represent what De Asis Hatchet does every day: cut through complexity and build something solid for the people who trust it with their cases and their futures.

Briseida Robles did not stumble into running a litigation finance company in Texas. She chose it because it sits at the intersection of two things she believes in deeply: access to capital and access to justice.

After eight years inside the industry, understanding the mechanics of pre-settlement funding, case cost financing, and law firm capital structures, Briseida saw a gap.
